VANITHA
The daughter of a daily wage labourer and a housemaid, Vanitha successfully completed her B.Com from a city college and is pursuing her MBA. When she heard of ANEW’s courses from friends in college, she knew the skills would help her follow her dream of working in accounting. After completing the Basic IT as well as Tally courses, she got a job at an audit firm. Six months later, she got placed in Accenture with a monthly salary of Rs. 10,000. Today, she applies her learnings from the ANEW classroom every day at her job.
KEERTHIGA
Keerthi comes from a family of four. Her father is a daily wage labourer, her mother works as a housemaid and her brother is unemployed. She decided to study Biotechnology in college and began searching for work soon after, wanting to support her family. It was her search to upgrade her skills that led her to ANEW where she quickly completed the Basic IT course and later, the e-publishing course. Soon after, she got placed at a publishing firm, where she worked for two years. Though she later switched to the food industry, she continues to credit ANEW with empowering her with the skills needed for a corporate job.
