Dream comes true

dreamsComesTrue ANEW records its sincere gratitude to those "forces" -      Mr. Basil Sellers; our major benefactor from Australia, The Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation, who have helped us meet our target and all those silent workers without whom this change for continuity would never have been possible. Dr.Vijaya Bharathi Rangarajan , Trustee & Director- Community Projects, Dr.Rangarajan Memorial Hospital, lit the Kuthuvilakku, to commence the activities of ANEW at our new premises.

A dream has come true - a dream, which began with Vatsala, has now been realized-and realized so perfectly. ANEW has moved into its own premises at AH – 107, New No.16, 4 th Street, Shanthi Colony, AnnaNagar, Chennai – 600040.

In the driver’s seat July 14-20, 2007

The Commissioner of Police Letika Saran gave away certificates to a group of 20 girls who had undergone the free car driver’s course, conducted by the Association for Non- Traditional Employment for Women (ANEW), Anna Nagar based NGO working for the upliftment of unprivileged women, at a function held on it’s premises on 7 July.

Seva Award April 18, 2007

sevaAward_anew We are proud of Mr.Subbaiyan, our Administrative Manager who is selected along with two others for SuchirSeva award given by CIOSA to “Grass Root level Social Workers” for serving the society.

He received the award on the 5th March during “SEVA MELA” at Valluvar kottam. A true Gandhian that he is, spending his entire working life for the cause.

Mr.Subbaiyan, dedicates this award to the Gandhi Peace Foundation, Asha Niketan & ANEW.
