2007 was a landmark year for ANEW. The generous support of Mr. Basil Sellers helped ANEW setup office in its own property. The bigger premises and better infrastructure helped ANEW run its day to day operations smoothly. In honour of its generous benefactor, Mr. Basil Sellers, ANEW named the building “Basil Sellers Centre.”
This year also saw the beginning of a new course, House Keeping. The trainees got placed at city hotels in the house keeping department.
Further, this year home nursing trainees were offered an opportunity to work with residents of Karna Prayag, a reception centre for abandoned infants and babies. This experience in paediatric care has been very useful in finding placements for ANEW’s students.
